House Of Kraft Orthopaedics, here in Ottawa, makes custom shoes directly to a plastercast taken of the patient's feet. The cast is modified to accommodate the individual needs of each person. A soft footbed is made to fully support the feet to insure comfort throughout the day. The leather uppers are then designed, sewn, and molded over the cast and footbed.
House Of Kraft uses only the best leathers that are tanned to provide chemical free uppers, vamps, and heel pockets. Lifts, if required, are made of a closed- cell lightweight foam that does not absorb moisture, which is whisked away from the foot via the inner liner.
